Respect for the patient

Every patient is welcomed with dignity, without any discrimination based on gender, age, origin, orientation, belief or social condition.

Clear and honest information

Before any procedure, the practitioner explains the indication, the steps, the expected results, the risks and the possible alternatives, in accessible language.

Medical confidentiality

Medical confidentiality is strict and absolute. No information about you will be shared with a third party without your consent, except where required by law.

Informed consent

No procedure is carried out without your free, informed and prior consent. You may, at any time, ask questions, request time to consider, or decline a treatment.

Professional independence

Dr Mergui practises in complete independence, free from commercial pressure from any supplier. Therapeutic choices are guided solely by your medical interest.

Continuing education

Medicine evolves rapidly. Dr Mergui is committed to ongoing training with the best international experts to offer you care that reflects current best practice.

Right to decline treatment

The practitioner reserves the right to decline a treatment if the indication does not appear justified, if a contraindication is present, or if the request falls outside the ethical scope of his practice.
