Frequently asked questions about Skin Rejuvenation
The laser stimulates fibroblasts in the dermis, restarting collagen and elastin production. Controlled heat also helps even out the complexion and soften superficial fine lines.
You see a more even complexion, refined texture, subtle firming and softened superficial wrinkles. Results are progressive over 2 to 3 months.
A protocol of 3 to 5 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended. An annual maintenance session sustains the benefit over time.
Redness and slight skin sensitivity can persist for 24 to 72 hours depending on the intensity of the treatment. Most patients return to their activities the next day.
The treatment is relevant from age 35-40 as a preventive approach, or earlier in cases of poor skin quality: dull complexion, uneven texture, acne sequelae.
Safety
All procedures are carried out by Dr Mergui, a qualified physician, using certified products and devices (CE, FDA). A medical assessment precedes every treatment.
